(AT AMINAT MANSION)

Aminat and Gabriel were still in the bedroom together when they suddenly heard Bosco's frightened voice from downstairs.

"Help! Somebody help me! There's a ghost in the compound!"

Bosco had seen Pastor Solomon's ghost enter the compound through the front gate without opening it. He was so terrified that he held onto the wall for support, begging the ghost to please spare him. "Don't harm me!" he pleaded.

He quickly ran into his gateman lodge with his heart racing with fear and shut the door behind him. He leaned against the wall, panting heavily, before slowly hiding under a bed while shaking with terror.

Bosco couldn't understand why Pastor Solomon's ghost was in the compound, especially since he had been dead and buried for weeks.  "What does he want? Is he here to haunt us?" He lay there under the bed, frozen with fear in his chief security uniform, unable to move or defend himself.

Pastor Solomon's ghost, who had initially come to seek Aminat's help and guidance, stared in utter surprise at Bosco's intense reaction and outburst upon seeing his ghost.

Pastor Solomon is on a mission to see Aminat and seek her assistance in getting the church laptop out of the Anglican Church, but he was thoroughly surprised to know that even Bosco the gateman could see him and acknowledge his presence.

He felt a sense of relief and gratitude that someone else could see him and understand his situation. If Aminat couldn't provide the help he needed, because pastor Solomon wasn't too sure if Aminat could see him yet, then maybe the gateman (Bosco) could offer some assistance in helping him get the laptop.

He is glad to have found someone who could see him after weeks of sitting helplessly within the church premises, waiting for help. 

“I hope this gateman will be able to provide the help I desperately need,” Pastor Solomon said while approaching the door to the gateman's lodge where Bosco had run into out of fear.

Gabriel, who is in the bedroom with Aminat, rushed outside after hearing Bosco's frantic shouts in the compound.

"What's wrong with this guy? Has he gone crazy?" Gabriel thought to himself. He ran down to Bosco's gateman’s lodge, passing Pastor Solomon's ghost without noticing his presence.

Gabriel began to bang on the gateman's door and shouting, "Open up, Bosco! What's going on? Where did you see a ghost in this compound? And since when did you start seeing ghosts?"

Bosco, who is still shaking under his bed, heard Gabriel's worried voice. "Help me! Gabriel, The ghost is right outside my door!" Bosco cried out.

"What ghost? I don't see anything," Gabriel replied, looking around the compound.

"That's because you can't see him! He's a spirit, Gabriel! He is the pastor of that Anglican Church, and I am not sure why he is here to harm us!" Bosco exclaimed and began to cry out loud.

Gabriel sighed, trying to reason with what Bosco had said, Also relating it to the latest occurrences in the mansion lately.

"Bosco, calm down. There's no such thing as ghosts. You must have seen something that scared you, but it's not a ghost."

Bosco shook his head from inside with his eyes wide with fear from under the bed. "You don't understand, Gabriel. I saw him with my own eyes! He's wearing a white robe with a pastor collar. It's definitely the dead Pastor Solomon from the Anglican Church."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, starting to get concerned. "Okay, Bosco, I'll take a look. But you need to calm down and come out from inside that room."

Meanwhile, Aminat is sitting on her bed in her mansion, deeply worried about Bosco's safety after Gabriel rushed out to check up on him. 

She understood that since Bosco had entered the room that day and saw Mr. Olamide's ghost without a ghost repellent in his hand, he would start seeing supernatural creatures onward, just like she did.

She understood that Bosco wasn't prepared for this new adventure and might be needing her help onward.

Aminat is also concerned that Bosco would be overwhelmed by these visions, which could lead to serious consequences. She needed to find a way to stop him from seeing these creatures immediately before it became too late for him.

However, she had a more pressing issue to address at the moment, so she quickly got up from her bed and stepped out of her mansion. 

She is shocked to see Pastor Solomon's ghost standing right next to Gabriel, who is still knocking on Bosco's door and pleading with him to come outside. Aminat's heart raced as she approached them slowly while thinking of a way to address the situation.

"What brings you here, Pastor Solomon?" Aminat asked, clearing her throat. It is the first time she acknowledged seeing the pastor's ghost.

Gabriel immediately turned to face the same direction Aminat was addressing, but he could not see anything out of the ordinary. "Who are you talking to, Aminat?" he asked. "Are you saying there is truly a ghost present here?" His eyes scanned the area.

"Yes, there is a ghost here," Aminat replied, nodding her head in confirmation. "Pastor Solomon's ghost is here with us."

Gabriel's expression changed from confusion to disbelief. "What? But I don't see anything here," he said, squinting his eyes for a proper look around.

Aminat moved closer to the gateman's door and knocked on it. "Bosco, come out of your room now," she commanded, and the door creaked open slowly.

Bosco emerged with his body still visibly shaking. He quickly positioned himself behind Gabriel, seeking refuge. "I'm scared, Gabriel," Bosco whispered, "the ghost is right there standing beside madam."

"Let's go inside everyone and talk about this," Aminat suggested, leading the way into the living room. The others followed her, including Pastor Solomon's ghost.

(INSIDE AMINAT'S LIVING ROOM)

"What are you doing here, Pastor Solomon?" Aminat asked when they got inside.

"Aminat, I needed your help in getting my laptop out of the Anglican Church, like I told you that night before," Pastor Solomon's ghost replied.

"Really, a laptop?" Bosco, the new ghost seer, interrupted the conversation before Aminat could reply to pastor Solomon.

 

"You needed a laptop, and that's why you walked in like that without even knocking on the gate. You just went through the gate  to scare me. If not for some of the little charms my late father had given me before his death, what would have become of me? What would have been said of me if I didn’t realize quickly?” Bosco took a long deep breath and continued to att+-ack pastor Solomon's Ghost.

“Is that how you ghosts behave? See, I respected you because you are a pastor, and please and please, do not try that thing with me again. After all, a living dog is better than a dead lion. And all thanks to God almighty because I am a living dog." Bosco added.

"Laptop? Did the pastor say he needed help with his laptop?" Gabriel joined the conversation, looking in the wrong direction as if that’s where Pastor Solomon's ghost is seated.

"Not that direction, bro," Bosco said, while holding Gabriel's head and turning it to face the direction where Pastor Solomon's ghost is. 

"Come on, get your hand off my head," Gabriel shouted at Bosco for turning his head to face the direction of Pastor Solomon. "You are an expert in seeing ghosts, yet you freaked out like that when you saw one." Gabriel yelled at him Angrily.

"Don't you dare ridicule me as the chief security officer of this compound in front of madam.” Bosco interjected immediately. "I have been used to seeing ghosts before now, but what I have not seen is that of a pastor. That's the reason I freaked out like that. But everything is fine now, as you can see." Bosco said.

"Enough! Both of you," Aminat yelled and began to lecture them. "Well, when people die, they get attached to the things they value the most in life."

She took a long breath and continued. "Some cannot leave specific objects after their death. Some are attached to their mother, boyfriend or girlfriend, siblings, or the people they love the most.”

“Some die and cannot roam; they haunt the specific location where they had history. So, there is nothing wrong with Pastor Solomon's ghost being attached to a laptop. We need to help him because this seems clearly like what is preventing him from going on to the afterlife for weeks now.”

“Okay, ma'am. Tomorrow is Sunday. I will help him get the laptop and do whatever he wants with it,” Bosco said. “But madam, as you can see, this is no longer an ordinary security job. The work is getting spiritual, and I might need an increment in salary this month.”

“But wait ooo,” Gabriel said, “I am still wondering what is in the laptop that makes the pastor want it so badly.” Bosco and Aminat reasoned with Gabriel and wonder what makes the pastor want the laptop badly. 

The three of them unknowingly turned in the direction of Pastor Solomon's ghost and asked him in unison, “What is inside the laptop, Pastor Solomon?”
