“WHO POURED MY SOUP BEFORE I BRING DOWN THE ROOF OF THIS KITCHEN” I kept screaming with anger and mama came out from the backyard tying her wrapper well

“Which roof do you want to bring down!!! Is it the one your wretched father built ehn?”

“Mama you better leave my father out of this,let’s not even go there at all. Who poured my soup??”

“Which pot did you use to cook the soup, which firewood,which salt are you even holding sef you poor church rat…you have the audacity to enter my kitchen and prepare your slippery poison for my husband so that you can charm him the way you did to my son okwaya (right?),you used my things without permission and you’re here spitting rubbish, mtcheew”she said and entered the kitchen to check the boiling rice on fire

“Ah!!ayè mi(my life), Ki lè lèyì(what’s all these)

So mama because I did not take permission to use a pot that’s general in this house, because every other ingredients I bought them with my money,that’s why you poured my soup

MAMA YOU POURED MY SOUP!!!”

I fiercely loosen the wrapper on my head and went straight to the pot of rice and throw everything away including the pot,mama screamed and rolled on the floor making everyone in the house to come out

“What’s all these na,who poured the rice”emeka asked

“Ask her oo,ask your witch of a fiancee…look at me oo,I said let me prepare food for my husband and you people but she came with her witchcraft and poured everything,the way I will beat her ehn,not even the witches of her state will stop me”she ran towards me like an angry dog but papa blocked her

“Ayomide what’s all these ,it hasn’t reached that stage na Haba!!” Emeka said

“Wo!!ma shèpè fùn è oo,ma shèpè fún E Gidi(look,I will curse you oo),if you ask me nonsense…why will she pour my soup away,soup that I was preparing for papa why??,oh you think I will fold my arms and come crying to you abi”

“But nne,you shouldn’t have poured the rice”papa added

“But papa and everyone that will judge me,she shouldn’t have poured my soup,emeka I’m really trying to condone all of these,I’m trying hard to stay here but it seems in not welcomed here

I entered inside and left all of them murmuring to themselves,I was very angry and I need to go out to cool my head off

I removed my boxers and my polo to wear my flared gown but ebuka stormed in without knocking

“Are you mad or something,why didn’t you knock”I quickly throw the gown on my body but the idiot already had a good look of my body

“I …I’m a.. sorry,I just wanted to talk to you”

“Go and talk to your ancestors!!”I slammed the door at his face

Few hours later I came back and was feeling sleepy,I entered my room to see a girl sitting and crossing her legs comfortably on my bed,she jerked in surprise when she saw me and finally relaxed back

“And who are you”i asked scanning her from head to toe

“I’m emeka’s fiancee,mama said that I’m sharing this room with him”

She said and i laughed noisily and removed the belt from emeka trousers….

EPISODE 3

I laughed noisily as I removed the belt from emeka’s trousers,I walked straight to the parlour where mama was sitting down and greeted her

“Have I warned you to stop greeting me,you ekwensu of a person..have I???”

“Mama,I met a girl in my room saying that you asked her to share the room with emeka…mama pls is that so?”

“Imagine the audacity of question?,is it your room? When did you start claiming rooms and positions in my husband’s house okwaya,TELL ME!!!”

“Emeka remains my fiance, and his room is automatically mine..I only came here to confirm but it seems you actually did tell her” I straightened the belt in my hands and matched straight to our room leaving mama shouting and telling me not to kill somebody’s daughter

“Ewó(look) do you love your skin,do you know the difference between àtà rodo and àtà tatashé,do you know what it takes if such pepper enter your eyes,do you know how to shout and scream for help…if yes stay if no wait and see what will happen”I tell the girl in my room but she just hissed and balanced well on the bed

“FIUUUP!!!! FIUUUP!!! FIUUUP!!!”

The tight leather belt landed on her bleached fair skin making her to jump and cry in surprise

“Jesus ooo,chim oooo!!!”

“Sè O ya wèré Ni,mó ba é sóró iwó na jókó(are you mad,I’m talking to you and you are sitting down)

“Chimoo,mama ooo”she ran out of the house like a fowl who wants to purge out

I sat patiently and waited for mama to come with her own wrath lets end it here but she didn’t

Later in the evening,emeka came back from wherever he went to and brought some things. I came out from the room to welcome him but I saw this same girl all clingy around emeka ,and mama collected the items he bought

I bounced with fierce anger and slapped the girl hard,the girl staggered and hold mama for support

“Let this be the very last time I will see you with my fiancee if not ehn..I will render you blind!!!

Mama slapped me also,but i stood my ground and pointed fingers at the girl

“Ayo,you would have let me enter the house in peace now,what’s all these..why did you slap the innocent girl?!!

“Oh really!!the same girl mama brought to our room as your fiancee Abi.. look emeka if you’re longer interested in this relationship you better tell me now let me pack my things” I folded my arms across my breast

“Fian…. what,mama what is she talking about”

“Emeka..I don’t want this girl in this house anymore,take her to the asylum centre where you carried her from cause chiamanda here will be your new fiancee”mama said and emeka laughed

“So that’s why you slapped ayomide,ehhn mama…mama pls don’t let it repeat itself again,Chi mirinda or whatever your name is..don’t let me see you anywhere across my room if you love yourself stay far from my wife..yes I don’t mind the madness she portrays but she has a good heart,if you enter her trap na u sabi”emeka drags my hand to go but I dragged the bag mama was holding and followed him to the room and gave them a funny face

“Babe, I’m really sorry for the stress mama is putting you through but you need to calm down and don’t reply everything she tells you please”Emy pleaded but I opened the bag containing suya,bread,beverages and fruits

I opened the nylon containing the suya and picked the well dried peppered meat and stuff it in my mouth,do this is what mama wanted to go and enjoy..she’s not serious at all

“Emeka are we going to talk about your mother or are you going to tell me how much you missed me,hmmn” I tell him babyishly and the idiot turned to mumu

“Let me take my bath first and I will show you how much I’ve missed you” he say huskily and kissed my cheeks

The next day I felt emeka tapping me to wake up

“Bby wake up, papa said you should prepare efo riro for him,wake up you hear”he kept petting me and I stood up and went straight to the kitchen

I saw chiamanda in the kitchen but she greeted and pave way for me to pass

I did all the necessary things am supposed to do for the preparation of the soup

I prepared my soup without stress and dished it in a plate

I went to Papa’s room to serve him, he kept thanking me and ate joyfully

Few minutes later I went to the room to clear the plates but saw papa laying unconsciously on the floor with foam oozing out of his mouth!!!!!!
