I don’t know what happened next but I saw papa being lifted up and moved outside in a haste,mama couldn’t stop shouting and crying…joy and faith kept pointing fingers and spatting at me.

I was so unmoved by his actions that I really concentrated on my grinding,he kicked my grinding stone and the pepper away while shouting

“Are you mad?!!what did you tell the elders” I wasn’t prepared for this but he really pushed me,I rubbed my hand on the pepper mixed with the sand and gave him a resetting slap on both cheeks

“You are mad for pouring my pepper away…if you aren’t the one that poison the the food,why are you bothered?why are you scared? You didn’t poison the food,fine! Wait till the elders arrive and explain yourself” he raised his hands to hit me but emeka barged in and pushed him away from my sight
