Mr Smith packed the last bin into the dustbin and then something wriggled out of the dustbin. It was a black nylon.

She leaned to pick the black nylon and then felt something like a stone in the nylon.

.

It was wrapped around a chewed gum.

She picked out the stony object that she had felt in the nylon and found out that it was a ring.

They sat in the sitting room together watching an horror movie with popcorn and juice in hand.

She had placed her head on his shoulder and she was reminded over and over again of her sweet moments with her deceased husband where they would watch horror movie together and eat popcorn and juice just like they were doing that moment.

He touched his head.

She sat up and hugged him..”Does your head hurt again?”.

He winced. “Yes. So much this time”.

She whispered prayers on his head but the pain continued until he collapsed.

When she got to her room, she had three missed video calls from her mother on WhatsApp.

She redialled her mother and the woman connected immediately.”Where did you keep your phone?”

“The CEO collapsed again but he is recovering already”.

“Oh? Thank God he is recovering because I have got gist for you”.

Her face lit in excitement. “Tell me about it mummy”.

“The real CEO of Corncells is in Reland psychiatric hospital”.

“Real CEO of Corncells? What are you talking about?”.

“The man with you over there in the states is the illegitimate son of Morgan. He is not Morgan’s legitimate son”.

“No, Raymond told me that his parents are legally married”.

“His name is not even Raymond. The real Raymond is here in Reland hospital. Maybe you will get to talk to him yourself”.

“Mum, I am hundred percent sure that Raymond’s both parents are legally married”.

‘Can we make both of them talk tomorrow evening? We will make out plans on how we will set a video call at the right timing when they are both present. Deal?”.

“Yes mummy”.

There was a knock at the door. “A second mum”. She whispered into the phone screen to her mum and walked to open the door.

To her greatest surprise it was her boss.

He walked into her room for the first time and grabbed her hand. “It was in the evening…we had gone to oriental hotel to grab a drink and then we were arguing about how the waiter had served us lemonade even when we did not request for it because we always requested for lemonade anytime we came there and then I saw that as an opportunity to fall on one knee and bring out the ring in my pocket. Everyone had taken pictures because it was such a wonderful moment. Proposing to the woman that I had loved for ten years”.

She gasped as she watched him narrate how Tyler had proposed to her.

Now, she was not going to believe that Tyler’s spirit was possessing anyone anymore.

She was now totally convinced that her boss was her husband.

She was going to help him find his complete memory and find out everything

Morgan followed her car closely until she stopped and drove into her destination.

Reland hospital.

He followed her into the hospital and watched her head towards the stairs.

He was stopped by one of the doctors as he tried to follow her. “How may I help you sir?”.

He gave the doctor his business card.

She checked and gasped. “Did madame Morgan bring you here?”

“Yes and you just made me miss my way. Now you will have to direct me to the ward that she just walked into”.

“Okay sir”. She led him upstairs to the room that Raymond Morgan was in.

Martha turned as she was about to enter the ward and when she sighted her husband, she gasped. “Oh my God!what are you…”.

“It took me time to discover that that bastard that I made my son’s personal assistant had been your spy all along! Get off the way, I need to know what on earth you have been hiding from me!”. He pushed her off and she landed on the floor.

He walked into the ward and found out that no patient was there.

He looked around the empty room and rushed out. “Where is the patient that was supposed to be here?”.

Martha raised her head breathlessly and rushed into the ward to find out what had happened.

Her son had truly disappeared.

She screamed and grabbed the hand of the doctor. “Doctor, where is my son? My son,where is he? I thought you told me that no one has been allowed to enter here except the doctor?”.

The doctor checked the nook and crannies of the room “This place has been guarded from all workers and patients except trusted workers and the only cleaner…..”.

“…….cleaner…..where is the cleaner? The cleaner, where is she?????”.

(Twenty four hours before Raymond Morgan disappeared)

“The video call is ready dearie”. Mrs Smith passed the phone to him.

Raymond was startled when Tyler’s face appeared on the phonescreen. “Wh…where..why does he have exactly my face?”. He asked Mrs Smith who was seated beside him on the bed.

Tyler was as shocked. “Who are you?”.

“My name is Raymond Morgan”

“That is my name”.

“I am the CEO of Corncells organization”.

Tyler gasped. “No. I am the CEO of Corncells organization”.

“Did you loose your memory or something?”.

“Yes I lost my memory and my mother, Martha Morgan told me that I am the CEO of Corncells and that Raymond Morgan is my name”.

“What about your memory?does it come little by little?”

“Yes. I see some things especially in my dream”.

“Have you had memories that had to do with the Morgans?”.

“No. I only see myself as a doctor and married man”.

“That is your true identity. My mother cleaned your past identity because she didn’t want my father to give the company to my step brother. She used you”. Tears filled his eyes.

Mrs Smith brought out a ring. “I saw this in the bin of the hospital and it looked so much like my son’s”.

Naomi gasped at the sight of the ring. “My husband’s ring! That looks so much like my husband’s ring” .

Raymond collected the ring from Mrs Smith. “My mum had snuck your son in law into this hospital and done a surgery on him. My uncle is the owner of Reland hospital. They brought the plastic surgeon to this hospital and threw the ring so that he will not find his identity until I recover”.

Tyler disconnected the call and turned to Naomi. They held each other’s gaze. Now, reality had dawned on him that he had been carrying another man’s identity all these while.

Naomi sobbed uncontrollably. “How could Martha Morgan do this to me?how could she make me grieve so much because of her selfishness?”.

He grabbed her hand and touched her hair. “My wife…”. He muttered.

She hugged him and sobbed into his arms.

“My wife…”. He muttered again.

She looked up at him and held his face. “My husband”. She whispered back and leaned to kiss him heartily.

As he felt his mouth in his, the memories of everything flooded into his brain just at once.

He released her as he finally recognized his wife and remembered everything. Tears filled his eyes. “My beloved wife….I remember everything”.

Mrs Smith served Raymond Morgan coffee in a saucer after his video call with Naomi and Tyler. “Take this coffee since the weather is so cold”. She watched him drink it.

As he dived into a deep sleep after finishing the coffee, she smiled to herself. “I am sorry Raymond Morgan. I will make your mother feel the same sorrow that she felt when she made my daughter grieve like a widow. I will make her feel every single pain of grief”. She forced his body into the sack bag that she had brought along and loaded it on a wheel barrow”.

She wheeled him out of the ward
