(How Vanessa Rosales found out about about Tyler’s fake identity).

She rushed into his room that morning when she heard that he was going for a business trip. “Am I dreaming? Are you truly going for a business trip in the US and leaving me here with our baby? Can’t you postpone the trip until I give birth to our baby?”

“Baby? Over my business trip?”.

His non challant response threw her off guard. “Are you sure you are Raymond? Raymond would never do this. Come to think of it, you don’t behave alike. You don’t even have the same handwriting. Raymond hates cologne but you are always wearing cologne. Yes, I understand that you lost your memory, but you don’t feel anybit like my Raymond. The most important part of my suspicion is that, you don’t even have Raymond’s birthmark. He used to have a birthmark on his shoulder”. She touched his bare shoulder. “The fire did not even affect this part of your body, then how did it disappear? Who are you?”.

He shrugged. “I wonder about that too because this Raymond personality feels like a weight on me”.

She took his hair brush from his wardrobe and the hairbrush of Martha straight to the doctor and after a DNA test was done, it was discovered that this particular Raymond was not in anyway related to Martha.

She drove back to the house and entered Martha’s room…

“Who is that young man?”. Vanessa Rosales cried out to Martha.

“What do you mean? Who are you talking about?”.

“Stop the acting as if you don’t know what I am talking about?”.

“I have no idea of what you are talking about!”.

“The young man that has my boyfriend’s face, who is he?”. She threw the DNA result to her face. “You allowed me to kiss a man that was not even my boyfriend! You deceived me! You decieved father in law! I will make sure you pay for it! I will make this secret known to the world that you brought a stranger to the home!”.

Martha grabbed her hand and looked pleadingly at her. “I promise to tell you where the real Raymond is right now. But first of all, promise me that no one will know about this”.

Tears filled her eyes. “Where is my boyfriend?”.

“Let me take you to him”.

Martha drove her to Reland hospital to meet the real Raymond.

“What is this? Food???I am not interested!!!”. Raymond cried out. “Give me my heroine!!!”.

“This ofe nsala, if you taste it, your life will never remain the same”. Mrs Smith forced the spoonful into his mouth.

He reluctantly accepted the spoonfuls from her until his stomach could not contain it anymore.

“When last did you eat real food?”.

“I have eaten a couple of real food but I have not eaten good food like this in a while”.

“The injection the doctor just gave you will help calm your nerves and this is the right time to eat good food…while your nerve is calm”. She placed a comforting arm around him.

Martha and Vanessa walked into the ward.

Martha gasped at the sight of Mrs Smith. “Who are you and what are you doing here? What are you giving my son?”. She snatched the flask from her.

“I was the only cleaner allowed into your son’s ward. He has not eaten for six days now so I decided to make him try this white soup”.

Vanessa rushed to where Raymond was seated and kissed him. “I missed you so much, Ray. Can you just be fine and come back home?”.

“Leave us”. Martha told Mrs Smith sternly and watched her leave the ward.

Raymond touched Vanessa’s protruded belly.

“Our child”. Tears filled Vanessa’s eyes as she met his eyes. “Get well so that we can get married and leave Nigeria”.

Tears filled his eyes. “I feel so suffocated in this place. Somebody please take me out of here”. He cried out.

“So you were right there all along?”. Naomi felt so awkward.

Tyler stood from the cushion and walked towards her. “Why do you always feel so awkward around me, mrs Tyler? Can you tell me right now?”.

She gave him a stern look. “I should be the one asking you that. You always feel so awkward around me and even Diane noticed it”.

He shrugged. “…maybe you are seducing me and I have not even realised that yet”.

“Me? Seducing you?”.

He reached for her cheek. “I feel so soft when it comes to you and I don’t even feel that way for a woman that is carrying my baby over there in Nigeria. It feels so strange. Have we met before perhaps? Your presence feels so familiar”.

People will begin to ask questions, I sold all the jewelry Femi bought for me since we got married.
