episode 13-14

CHAPTER THIRTEEN.
Fiona came to her dorm and knocked this time around, she heard the voice of Crystal, her roommate telling her to come in and when she came in, she saw that Crystal was on her bed eating Pure Bliss Milk cookies as she lay down.

“Hey,” Fiona greeted as she came to her side of her bed, knelt down and when Crystal saw this complained. Knowing that Crystal is complaining, didn’t move her, for her, she can’t and wouldn’t miss a chance to talk to God, she thought, her eyes closed, she started praying and sooner than later, she felt someone leave the room but yet she wasn’t bothered about that, she no longer worried why she was always complaining when it comes to prayers but what she saw today had already answered her question, this school was filled with evil and she need to be strong and have be prayerful so she had it in mind that nothing will distract her from prayers.

She closed her eyes and started praying for her family, her friends, her classmates and for the teachers and also the principal who had taking a liking towards her, she prayed for close to an hour, then she was through with her prayers as she took out a king James bible and read from the book of Proverbs.

She studied for some minutes before her stomach started rumbling, she knew she was hungry. She remembered the biscuit Susan gave her, she brought out her backpack because she had kept it there, she opened her small zip and saw that the biscuit were surrounded by maggots inside the nylon she had wrapped it with and it was open, how it opened she didn’t know and how maggots got into a snack that looked fine few hours ago.
But something made her feel calm, and she felt like she should double-check her school bag again, and this time, she found two beef snacks and a bottle of fanta in it, she didn’t know how it got there.
She wasn’t still sure of how it was in her backpack because throughout the day she didn’t buy anything, she ate it then when she was done threw the rotten biscuit into a waste can.

She checked the time and it was some few minutes to five and realised that the bell would soon be rang for dinner.

Soon time runs by to Midnight, and every board students were asleep except the evil girls who always go to the spiritual world to hold a minute for an hour before coming back to sleep, and they knew before going, they would transfer either in a snake form or be a half snake and ur hair replaced with little snakes hanging on her head, and this is what every girl in the school had turned into as they all chant a little word before vanishing into the air and appearing later in huge dark sea room where sitted in a snake like throne was Jezebel, their Queen Mother who would be seen as very beautiful even in her snake form, she is crowned with gold and her staff is an ijele stick, she as every girl in the circle know, was deadly.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN.
Susan appeared in her python form and was obviously happy about it, she moved into the circle of the serpent and to Jezebel’s side, the girls knew that Susan is Jezebel’s favourite and made her next to be the heir in the kingdom, even though they were those that are older than her knew they weren’t ruthless as Susan, they know that Jezebel love Susan because she had brought more souls into the kingdom and has killed more than any of them.

There was a time when a girl who had initiated Susan challenged her because she thought Susan was taking everything she had planned to be and knew that as Susan became Jezebel’s favourite, that automatically would be the next Queen after Jezebel.

Susan and the girl whose name was Stella once fought, Stella had gotten the upperhand but was distracted as she looked at their Queen Mother, Susan used the opportunity and jumped on her before piercing her teeth into her neck, biting it hard that blood flow freely, every was shocked. Susan was angry that she didn’t feel pity for stella, she wanted until Jezebel told her to stop that she had to let go of Stella. Stella in other words was too ashamed and very weak, she tried to heal herself but didn’t have the strenght to move her hands, Jezebel walked to where Susan was lying in her own pool of blood.
She placed her staff at the puncture of the wound, it healed up.

She was stripped of her powers and her memory was wiped before Jezebel sent her home, it was a rule in the circle, if you challenge a hear to the Snake Throne and lose, you will either be used as a feast or given the forgiven stone which is stripping you of your powers and wiping away your memory of the circle.

But if you win, you will be the heir.
Since that day, no daughter had the courage to face Susan, they all respected her.

So when she appeared, the daughters bowed recognising her as their next Queen.

“Queen Mother. Your daughter humbly bows before you.” she knelt down before Jezebel and proclaimed.

“Susan, my heir. You are welcome.” Jezebel’s sweet voice rang through the circle. “I see you are happy.” she added.

“My Queen, I had gotten the pest who had disturbing our activity.”

“Who would that be? Susan.” still her voice was melodious.

“Fiona Jeremy, my Queen.” as she said her name, the daughters gasped.

“Oh my Susan, you always get our enemies, and that’s why I have a special liking to you my dear.” she got up from the throne, and took Susan by the hands, when they were face to face, Jezebel kissed her, it was for few seconds before she withdraw from the kiss. “Oh how happy you’ve made me be.” she said to Susan as she is still holding her head.
